Part 3Positioning, Messaging, and Memory
The best CTA reduces uncertainty
Why “Book a demo” is often less powerful than telling the buyer what proof they will see.
“Book a demo” is fine.
It is also generic.
For many B2B AI products, the CTA can do more than ask for time.
It can tell the buyer what proof they are going to see.
Examples
Instead of:
Book a demo
Try something more specific when the product allows it:
See AI handle a live carrier call
Watch a client meeting get prepared
Review a sample follow-up
See eligibility checks automated
Test it on one workflow
Upload a document and ask questions with sources
The CTA should reduce uncertainty.
It should make the next step feel useful even if the buyer is not fully convinced yet.
